The MUSE Global Newsletter

VOL. 8 | April 2020

Hello! It’s a bit surreal to look back at last month’s newsletter and reflect upon how much has changed in just a few short weeks. In the blink of an eye, COVID-19 spread across the globe, schools closed, and all but those businesses and organizations deemed essential shut down, or moved online. While the circumstances are harrowing, we’re grateful to be able to continue our work of innovating education – which is even more powerful during these times of uncertainty. We are so proud of our flagship MUSE School’s seamless transition to virtual learning (see our first MG Virtual Learning Update below), and are even more motivated to expand our education model globally so children everywhere can learn to be adaptable, conscious, and empowered – both in good times, and those of challenge. As always, thank you for following along on our journey, and please continue to engage with us on social at @museglobaled.

In gratitude,
Rebecca Amis, President of MUSE Global & Co-Founder of MUSE School CA

Vegan Women Summit Virtual Gathering

Our co-founder/sister team, Rebecca and Suzy, joined the Vegan Women Summit’s Virtual Gathering this Sunday. They shared how to keep students and parents healthy and mindful during this time, and how MUSE is maintaining student engagement through our established virtual learning plan. We loved what Rebecca had to say about keeping life, and schooling, consistent but simple for children. ‘“We’re giving them routine, but also giving them comfort.” If you missed the gathering but would like to hear Rebecca and Suzy’s insights, the full recording is available here.

New blog series:

‘In the wake of COVID-19’

As we all continue to find meaning during this time, we decided to begin a new blog series focused on finding silver linings and purpose through MUSE Global. So far, we’ve developed three pieces: focused on hope, adaptability, and joy. We hope you find them as inspiring as we did.

P.S.  Leaving you with some snaps below from the homes of our MUSE School CA families as their children began their virtual learning journey.
